Anthroposophy and politics

There are those who say that Dr. Rudolf Steiner was a true sasa of all things. We too find that he has left us a wealth of impulses that have nourishing content for all the essential aspects of our lives today.

But unfortunately, as a human being, one must first become active in thinking oneself under expert guidance, so that the fruits of anthroposophy can show themselves to one. Mere consumption without one's own activity does not work. A high-performance gymnast must also first acquire the physical competence to stand in the rings with outstretched arms in the air.

At the same time, anthroposophy suffers in some respects from the dilemma that on the one hand it is so beneficial and forward-looking for humanity, but on the other hand it cannot be so easily communicated in a loose way.

It is therefore no coincidence that those anthroposophists who are technically fit in the subject matter come across as rather intellectual and possibly also as aloof to their listeners. For quite a few followers, anthroposophy is a matter of intellect or head. This often creates the problem that people who have little or no previous experience in anthroposophy cannot find eye level with those who are far more advanced. And Wolfgang also sometimes says: "Anthroposophy is worth nothing if it is not possible to really get into contact. If contact is not made, from person to person, then it is a dead anthroposophy. That serves no one" (quoted).

Today is a time of substantial upheaval. One gets the impression that things are changing quickly and radically in our world. These days, you rarely meet people who have lightness and confidence. On the "outside" it is turbulent - many people are now physically and mentally feeling the strain. Some people are grounded deep within themselves and seem to get by quite well. For others, fear has become a constant companion.

We, the makers of anthro.world, have the inner certainty that the training path in anthroposophy can give people balance, stability and perspective for life.

The challenge, however, is how to bring the contents of anthroposophy into harmony with the concrete questions of the time. After all, anthroposophy is largely an inner path.

How, however, are the external conditions to be ordered so that people can find the prerequisites in the reality of their lives to follow their inner path? How should the social, the economic and the legal be organised so that there can be a harmonious triad?

In order to get as concrete an idea as possible of how the aforementioned triad should be shaped in concrete terms, we have said to ourselves that we will try to formulate our values and demands in a way that is suitable for our times, similar to a party programme.

Are you interested in participating? Then please contact us in advance here: info@anthro.world.

Sooner or later, we want to gradually develop a framework of values that is as concrete as possible for our own orientation and be in encounter and discussion with you. Your comments below could also be inspiring. Always come up with your suggestions, but please also provide one for your claim (your own insights and or quotes from Steiner with exact sources). Let's see what comes out of this. It could be exciting!
