7. weekly verse of the soul calendar by Dr. Rudolf Steiner Connect yourself spiritually with the environment! Dissolve the negative. It is a matter of bringing new, soulful things into nature anew. Letting go of thinking. Bringing ancestors into an awake state: leads to imagination. Our soul organs have been predisposed in us for a long time. Living thinking: NEW thinking (no memories. Imagination: soul light, enlightenment). Intuition is not a gut feeling. Inspiration : conversation with soul beings (soul communication with elemental beings). From the physical to the ethereal = warmth (ethereal and soul). The more I give away the spiritual - I let it flow into the world - the more comes back to me (healing for me). This can be achieved by means of the 3rd secondary exercise. This exercise is seemingly simple. When we share spiritual things, we strengthen each other. Giving away the soul becomes a positive force. Chapter 14, City of Babylon. What we give away soulfully works against Sorat! We may give away soulfulness of our own making. Sympathy and antipathy. Through our self-created light, which we give away to adversaries (Lucifer, Ahriman and the Asuras), a soul force arises that is sublime above the light. We stand between light and darkness. Our real I is with every movement between light and darkness. The two-horned beast (= Sorat). Sorat is not mentioned in the Apocalypse, but paraphrased as "666". Chapter 14, (6) The eternal gospel (= angels) and the harvest of the earth (earth world = Babylon). The source = revelation giving itself away. The Babylonians were star scholars. Abuses also existed. Some star scholars went the "black way". Light from positive macrocosm world was given to Sorat. And Sorat turns light into darkness. Black magic does not create anything new. They stew in their own juice, immense egoism. They are "blinded by darkness". Triumph of the ego.

In the 7th verse of the week it becomes clear that crystal-clear thinking is now disappearing more and more and is giving way to a foreboding of the soulful in nature and concepts are being formed that do justice to the rich soulful outside in nature. If we develop the ability to imagine, we need soul organs for this, which basically consist of well-practised soul activities. These abilities to be developed are expressed in the leaves of the lotus flowers. Each of the lotus flowers has a different number of abilities. The previous lecture was about the 2-petalled lotus flower: one petal is turned inwards, the second must come into activity, i.e. become mobile in the etheric - enter into living thinking, which begins where we start to really think and not merely repeat learned thoughts from memory. In inspiration, the sound ether is the formative force. I learn to relate my spiritual experience to the harmony of the spheres in the macrocosm. In order to come to inspiration (is a spiritual interchange), I need the 2nd sixteen-petalled lotus flower, which sits in the throat area and has 8 old and 8 new qualities. To develop the new qualities is the task and consists of developing love and compassion (in Buddhism) and means to take hold of the soul with the I and transform it. If we are too slow, this also has negative effects on the spiritual hierarchies. Sorat wants to rob soul and ego forces and transform them so that they are usable for him. Human soul forces of sympathy given away in freedom would destroy Sorat's kingdom. For the human being this means that the more I give away, the more I get involved in this dark kingdom, the more it becomes a light kingdom and the more this succeeds, the adversaries are released from their bitter task and only the human being is capable of this. This does not apply to Sorat, with him the creative power dies out. The conclusion is the reading of the 14th chapter from the 6th verse onwards. Against these forces, the remedy is our I, through which Christ can work.
